This year’s award recognises those retailers who have gone out of their way to support their local communities through the pandemic.
What We Look For
This year’s award (formerly the Independent Retailer Award) recognises all independent retailers - including sandwich bars, cafes and bakeries - who have gone out of their way to support their local communities through the pandemic.
The Award Qualifying Period is 1st March 2020 to 28th February 2021 and entrants must have a Food Hygiene Rating of 5.
All entries will be treated in strict confidence and only seen by the judging panel.
How to Enter
Entrants should provide a written submission, no more than two sides of A4 and clearly state what they have been doing over the last 12 months to help people through lockdown and how they have kept their business going.
The shortlisted entries will be invited to present to the judging panel and BSA members via a video conference on 9th March 2021.
