Day two of the world's finest carb-loading adventure took us to Northwich in Cheshire and to Frank Roberts' brilliant bakery. They gave us a huge conference room for the day and we even had Mike Roberts himself taking time out of his day to come and join the judging panel.

The six categories saw dozens of delicious designer sarnies and the winners of each category were:

Cara O'Donovan of The Portrush Deli Co with Pesto Packed Panini

Richard Mattock of Mellors Catering Services with Pulled Duck Kerala with Rhubarb and Ginger Compote

Highly commended was Cara O'Donovan of The Portrush Deli Co with Spicy Steak Sourdough
But the Winner, and going through to th final is: Ian Barker of Le Brunch with The King of Spain
